This is the former band of deadman's Mako, Yukino, and aie. Kein was a Nagoya based band formed in 1997. Reo and Yukino were mainly responsible for writing the music, while Mako wrote all the lyrics.

Former kein members include the original bassist Ritsu and Ruka (former bassist of Lamiel). Yukino originally was a guitarist when he joined kein and only took the part of bass later on. aie joined kein in January '00 and they then released their first cd single "mourou no mi." However, some band members soon became dissatsified with the direction kein was headed. It was Reo's decision that they should disband. So in August of 2000 kein played for the last time.

Mako and aie are currently in the band Deadman. Yukino was in deadman, but left due to musical differences. He is currently in a band called GULLET with Reo. Hibiki the drummer for the band Blast.
